Data collected by this app
- Anonymous Firebase user ID
- Optional display name and observer labels
- Optional observer email or phone reference entered by the user
- Optional emergency contact details
- Check-in timestamps, streak/progress data, user role, and reminder preferences
- Device token for push notifications
- Crash reports and performance data via Sentry
Storage and sync
LifeSignal stores app data locally and in Firebase/Cloud Firestore so check-ins, observer relationships, and notifications can work across the app. Firebase data is intended to be stored in the EUR3 Europe region.

Push notifications
LifeSignal uses push notifications for reminders and emergency/observer flows. Notification delivery requires a device token.
Deletion
LifeSignal includes a delete button in Settings. It is intended to remove both local app data and Firebase data associated with the anonymous account.

Where legal requirements are met, data subjects may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint to a data protection supervisory authority.
